Burn XT: Full Review

Overall Burn XT Score: 2.3/5.0
Burn XT review

Almost everyone wants to lose weight, but it can be so hard to do on your own. That’s what we like about weight loss supplements, they always have your back! As long as you can find the right one, that is.

We review the best and worst of supplements to help you decide which one is the right supplement for you. With so many diet pills that all claim to be “better than the rest,” it is easy to get confused as to which diet pill you should choose. We do our best to make this experience as easy as possible for you.

Let’s investigate the benefits, drawbacks, ingredient profiles, cost, how it’s used, where you can buy it, side effects and more! This will help you decide if Burn XT is the right “fat burner” for you.

What Is Burn XT?

Official Product Name: Burn XT

What Is Burn XT? Burn XT is made by a company called Jacked Factory. It is a diet pill that claims to suppress appetite and increase energy levels. Some of these claims can be supported by science like increased energy from the caffeine, but the effectiveness may be lower than this product promotes.

Is Burn XT Recommended? When taken in “regular” or “experienced” doses it can give you a huge amount of energy due to its caffeine content. As a weight loss supplement, it isn’t highly recommended, but you could still give it a shot. We have seen many other, better products, but, if your heart is set on this one you could try it and see what happens. It does have a money back guarantee, but the company isn’t willing to share any further details on what the guarantee is, so we don’t recommend relying on it.

Where Can Burn XT Be Purchased? This product can be purchased through the company’s website or on Amazon for $29.99 plus shipping. When taken as directed, Burn XT will eventually cost about $60 for a month’s supply.

What Does It Mean To Get Better Weight Loss?

Getting better weight loss is a way of changing your life for the better. It helps make your weight loss goals more achievable and easier to fulfill. You’re probably here because your current weight loss strategies on their own aren’t doing enough or maybe just aren’t doing anything. When you get better weight loss you are able to stop worrying about it and keep living a healthier and happier life.

Weight loss supplements can help you achieve this just by doing what you’re already doing. A good weight loss supplement is designed to help you enhance your weight loss, typically through thermogenic, fat burning, and appetite suppressing ingredients.

Who Is Burn XT For?

Burn XT is best for people who are already losing weight and just want a tiny kick in their weight loss plan. It can be used by both men and women who are 18 years or older. It is also a good supplement for people who are low on energy and want a large boost everyday

We recommend caution for anyone who is sensitive to caffeine, due to its high caffeine content. If you are prescribed with any medications or have any health conditions you should speak with your doctor before starting. Ingredients in this formula are known to negatively affect multiple medical conditions.

This supplement is for people who do not shy away from negative side effects. If you are brave enough to face the side effects and don’t have any medical conditions or mental health problems, Burn XT may be for you.

What’s The Best Way To Use Burn XT?

You should start by taking one capsule a day with a meal. Once you have gotten more comfortable with the product you should start to take one capsule with a meal 2 times a day. After you are more experienced with the use of this supplement, the bottle recommends taking two capsules with a meal twice a day.

It is almost like a game, they recommend you complete certain levels before moving on to the next level. To put it more simply:

  • Level 1: take one capsule a day
  • Level 2: take one capsule two times a day
  • Level 3: take two capsules two times a day

It is suggested to avoid using on an empty stomach and should not be taken within 5-6 hours of falling asleep. You should not exceed 4 capsules in a day. For best results, supplements should be taken in combination with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Ingredients can cause dehydration, so it’s very important to make sure you are drinking lots of water throughout the day.

Burn XT Ingredients

This is the most important section of this review. By looking at the ingredients we can learn what it does, if it is effective, what the side effects are, and more.

Burn XT contains 5 ingredients that are commonly found in weight loss supplements, however, they are typically accompanied by stronger and more effective weight loss ingredients. Although most of this formula is backed by science, not all of the ingredients here can help with weight loss.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCI

L-carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid that has recently found its way into weight loss supplements. Acetyl-L-carnitine is a type of L-carnitine that is the most effective for brain health. Because this is the largest ingredient in this supplement, we would hope that it would be the most effective. Even though it is easily found in weight loss products, clinical research shows that it has no effect on weight loss.

A randomized, double blind, placebo study was conducted to investigate the effects of L-carnitine supplementation on weight loss. 36 overweight women were randomly assigned to two even groups. The first group was given 2,000 mg of L-carnitine and the second a placebo twice a day for 8 weeks. All subjects participated in a 30 minute walk 4 days a week. Researchers found no significant changes in total body mass, fat mass, and lipid utilization between the two groups. In fact, there weren’t any significant differences of any variable. It was concluded that L-carnitine supplementation has no effects on weight loss. (5)

Green Tea Leaf Extract

Green tea leaves originate from China and India. They are high in antioxidants and are most commonly used to make beverages. Green tea leaf extract is taken from the plant and turned into a more potent and compact form. By consuming green tea, the body is better able to support heart health, improve brain health, slightly enhance weight loss, and promote healthy skin.

In a study done to test the effects of green tea supplementation on weight loss, researchers collected 76 participants. Subjects participated in 3 months of supplementation with a green tea (270 mg) and caffeine (150 mg) mixture. In those who had a high caffeine take outside of the supplementation reduced fat mass, weight, and waist circumference. Those who had a low caffeine intake outside of the supplement showed partial improvements. It was concluded that caffeine is an effective weight loss strategy and the green tea and caffeine mixture can show a slight assist. (3)

Caffeine Anhydrous

This ingredient is a dehydrated form of caffeine, which is a powerful stimulant. Some of its popular benefits include enhanced cognitive functions, improved weight loss, increased sports performance, and post-workout pain relief. People can build a tolerance to caffeine which can reduce the effectiveness of it, so it is important to pay attention to how much you typically consume and compare it to the amount in the supplements you are looking into.

Researchers wanted to find the thermogenic effects of caffeine in humans. A total of 20 subjects, 10 lean women and 10 obese women, participated in a study testing this theory. The thermogenic and lipid/carbohydrate oxidation response from caffeine was greater in women who were lean than it was for those who were obese. In conclusion, caffeine intake was associated with properties that can enhance weight loss, however, it was far more effective in lean women than it was in obese women. (4)

Capsimax (Cayenne Pepper Fruit Extract)

Capsimax is a patented form of cayenne pepper fruit extract (also known as red chili pepper extract) created by a company called OmniActive Health Technologies. In this formula it is used for its ability to help increase thermogenesis and support lipolysis. But, it can also help reduce motion sickness, relieve menstrual cramps, improve sore throats, and calm toothaches. It contains a compound called capsinoids, which are suspected to be the cause of the benefits from this ingredient.

A double blind, placebo controlled, randomized experiment was conducted to find the effects of capsinoids on weight loss. A total of 75 healthy volunteers participated in this study. For 12 weeks, subjects were given either a placebo or a capsinoid supplement everyday. When compared to the placebo, those taking the capsinoids supplements showed reduced fat mass. The results of this study suggest that capsinoids supplementation can give potential benefits for those looking to lose weight. (1)

BioPerine (Black Pepper Fruit Extract)

BioPerine is a patented form of black pepper fruit extract created by a company called Sabinsa Corporation. It can be used to enhance the absorption of nutrients and other ingredients in the formula and from the foods you eat. People also use it to help improve memory, boost immune system functions, increase mental skills, and support metabolism.

In order to find the effectiveness of piperine on enhancing bioavailability, researchers conducted an experiment. To test this, human volunteers were fed curcumin, which holds many medicinal properties, but unfortunately is very hard for the body to absorb. The subjects were first given curcumin alone and as expected, the serum levels were either undetectable or very low. When administered in combination with piperine, the bioavailability was significantly increased. There were no adverse effects found from the use of supplementation. (2)

How Does This Formula Compare To Other Formulas?

All of the ingredients in the Burn XT formula are pretty standard for weight loss supplements. They are for the most part pretty good, but there isn’t anything unique about this diet pill. It contains Acetyl-L-carnitine which has been found ineffective in promoting weight loss. One bad ingredient isn’t the end of the world, but it does show that this supplement wasn’t fully thought out or made based on the needs of the consumer.

When evaluating weight loss supplements we prefer to see more unique ingredients instead of just a few basics and nothing more. We don’t like seeing ingredients that have been researched and proven to be ineffective. Because this is marketed as a weight loss supplement, we would have liked to see a formula that is better at enhancing weight loss.

Unfortunately, like so many other weight loss products, it would appear that this diet pill was designed in the hopes of making a quick buck instead of helping people with their weight loss struggles.

How Much Does Burn XT Cost?

Burn XT can be purchased on for $29.99. It is also sold from the company’s official website for the same price plus shipping and handling. Although it is a slightly lower price than some of the other weight loss products on the market, it isn’t worth the cost. Plus, once you are done with the initial low doses and start taking it the way you’re supposed to, you will need two bottles a month, making the cost be about $60 a month.

In our experience the value of this small list of ingredients, in such small amounts, is nowhere near the amount that they are charging. Although it isn’t a good deal, some people have found success with it. Since it can also be found on amazon, if you are an amazon prime member you can also so enjoy free, fast shipping.

Burn XT Pros:

  • Made in the USA
  • Vegan friendly capsules

Burn XT Cons:

  • Once taken as an “expert,” one bottle only lasts 15 days
  • The largest ingredient doesn’t provide any weight loss benefits
  • Unreliable money back guarantee
  • Generic formula
  • Poor company reputation

Side Effects:

The ingredients in this supplement have been found to cause vomiting, dry mouth, restlessness, heartburn, liver damage, kidney problems, excess sweating, and much more. One ingredient (Acetyl L-Carnitine) can even cause a “fishy” odor on people who take it. These ingredients can also negatively affect medical conditions such as: anemia, anxiety disorder, any heart conditions, high blood pressure, IBS, Liver disease, osteoporosis, epilepsy, glaucoma, and more.

People who have used this supplement have also found that it causes severe anxiety, profuse sweating, nausea, jitters, extreme sickness, dizziness, inability to think clearly/concentrate, lightheadedness, upset stomach, weight gain, food cravings, cold sweats, chest pain, and more. We like to find supplements that are more safe and cause less problems in your day to day life.

What Are Customers Saying?

Some customers have found success from the use of this supplement, but a lot of users have given up on it due to either too severe of side effects or its lack of effectiveness.

There are a plethora of reviews from unhappy customers speaking of painful and unpleasant side effects and even those who work through these unwanted consequences were still unsatisfied with the supplement due to its inability to improve weight loss results. We prefer to find supplements that have better results in human use.

Why Is It Important To Have A Weight Loss Aid?

Weight loss supplements can change your life, if you get the right one. The methods of traditional weight loss are ineffective for most people, which is why weight loss supplements have become so popular. They can be very effective tools and a lot of people love the improvements that they bring to their lives.

Having a real weight loss supplement on your side can take your weight loss so much further. Of course, to get the results you want, you need to have a high quality weight loss supplement that is able to get the job done. Rest assured we do our best to give you everything you need to know about weight loss supplements, to help you decide which supplement is best for you.

Burn XT Bottom Line:

When evaluating supplements we like to focus on quality, value, and results. This can help determine if Burn XT works and if it is worth it. This process evaluates the most important components that go into a supplement and compress them into a small summary.

The quality of this supplement is decent, but the largest ingredient in this formula has been scientifically found to be ineffective at improving weight loss. It does contain a few ingredients that can help increase weight loss, but they are at very small amounts. The company doesn’t have a good reputation, which makes it hard to trust the overall quality of the supplement.

The value of the ingredients in this formula is far below the selling price. This supplement is very overpriced for what you are getting in it. It has some benefits, but you could most likely just take some plain caffeine supplements and have similar or the same effects. The rest of the ingredients are either in very small amounts or don’t affect weight loss.

Some people have had a good experience with this supplement, however, a lot of customers who have used this product have only found a lack thereof. Plus, there are a plethora of side effects that have been associated with the use of Burn XT. For supplements, real customer results are very important. People who take this supplement haven’t had the best luck, which is why we recommend looking into some other supplements.

Overall, Burn XT can have some benefits, but if you are looking for a real weight loss supplement that can give you a big boost in your weight loss journey, we suggest looking into other supplements before you buy.

Is there a money back guarantee?Yes, the Burn XT page on the company’s website shows that this product comes with a money back guarantee. Unfortunately, they have not offered any further details to clarify what the guarantee is. Most companies give at least the amount of days it is good for, and the good one’s give a description of how it works. The fact that neither of these are specified is somewhat of a red flag. We prefer products that are open and honest about the money back guarantee so you have something to rely on.

How long does each bottle last?It really depends on how you take them. For typical use, it should last between 30-15 days. A 30 day supply is the industry standard for weight loss supplements. So, seeing this is good. However, because this supplement is meant to eventually build up to 4 capsules a day, leaving you with a 15 day supply it is far below the bar. A product like this will end up doubling the monthly cost which is very frowned upon in the supplement world.

Is Burn XT safe?It is moderately safe. The ingredients can be used at safe doses and the doses in this formula appear to be safe. People have found unpleasant side effects from the use of Burn XT, but it hopefully won’t cause any severe side effects.

Can I sign up for an autoship program?Yes, if you buy this supplement on amazon you can sign up to automatically pay for it and have it shipped to you. We strongly recommend not signing up for these programs. Oftentimes when people sign up for them, they forget about it. Then money will be taken out unexpectedly and supplements will be shipped that a lot of the time go without use.

Is Burn XT Vegan Friendly?Yes, Burn XT is okay to be taken by people who are vegan.
